Desert Woman's Demonstration Garden

Desert Woman's gardens are not only the source of organic ingredients for our products but an ongoing laboratory and research facility.  We take great interest in all kinds of plants, how they behave, what they offer, and how they interact with other plants in their midst.

Part of Desert Woman's educational efforts are herb walks to help gardeners and herbalists identify and understand the properties and characteristics of these plants and also to raise small seed crops of heirloom, rare, and valued varieties.

The following list includes plants that are presently growing, that we have planted in the past, or have just shown up as "volunteers."  We will be expanding this page in the future and invite you to revisit from time to time.  As we are able to, we will add links on this page that give additional information on these and other varieties.
